MOSCOW, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Viktor Troicki picked up his first ATP championship Sunday with a three-set victory over Marcos Baghdatis at the Kremlin Cup tennis tournament in Moscow.

The unseeded Troicki rallied from behind for a 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 win over Baghdatis, the tournament's No. 4-seed. It was the third three-set win for Troicki at the tournament.

Troicki dropped his serve twice in the first set but only faced one break point after that. He lost just five points on serve in winning the second set and nine points in the third set.

Baghdatis was nearly as strong as he had to deal with only five break points on the day. However, two came in the third set when he had his serve broken in the fourth game. That break came on an unforced error, one of 40 on the day for Baghdatis.

The Kremlin Cup championship was worth $181,750 to Troicki, whose 2010 earnings total more than $802,000. Baghdatis fell to 1-2 on the year in tournament finals but still collected $95,200. He's won $917,000 this year.
