NHL: Nashville 4, Tampa Bay 3

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Anders Lindback turned aside 42-of-45 shots Sunday, backstopping the Nashville Predators to a 4-3 victory over Tampa Bay.

Lindback faced 16 shots in the third period, allowing a pair of scores as the Lightning cut their deficit to a single goal. But he survived a late power play and a sixth attacker in the closing seconds to hang on for the victory.

After spotting the Bolts a 1-0 lead, the Predators scored four straight goals, with Shea Weber, Sergei Kostitsyn, Cody Franson and Colin Wilson each finding the net.

Martin St. Louis and Adam Hall netted tallies 57 seconds apart in the third period for Tampa Bay, which lost for the first time at home this year in regulation time.

Dan Ellis stopped 22-of-26 shots for Tampa Bay.
