COL FB: Missouri 36, Oklahoma 27

COLUMBIA, Mo., Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Blaine Gabbert hit Jerrell Jackson with a go-ahead, fourth-quarter touchdown Saturday and No. 16 Missouri upset third-ranked Oklahoma 36-27.

Jackson's 38-yard TD grab gave the Tigers a 26-21 lead with 12:50 to go in the game, and Missouri (7-0, 3-0) went on to score nine more final-quarter points and post a huge win over the BCS-leading Sooners.

Gabbert went 30-of-42 passing for 308 yards and Jackson caught nine passes for 139 yards for the Tigers, who remained the only unbeaten team in the Big 12.

Missouri defeated Oklahoma for the first time after seven straight losses and for only the second time in 21 meetings. Tigers fans celebrated the victory with a wild party on the field.

The Sooners (6-1, 2-1) were led by Landry Jones, who completed 32-of-50 passes for 303 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions. Eight of his passes went to Ryan Broyles, who racked up 110 yards.

Oklahoma's loss makes it likely Oregon will take over the top spot in the BCS rankings, with either Boise State or Auburn claiming the No. 2 spot.
