LANDOVER, Md., Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Joseph Addai rushed for 128 yards and scored a key third-quarter touchdown Sunday in the Indianapolis Colts' 27-24 victory over Washington.
Addai, who was coming off a shoulder injury, broke free for a 46-yard gain midway through the frame, taking the ball to the Washington 20-yard line, and one play later scampered for a 13-yard touchdown that gave the Colts a 10-point lead at 24-14.
Peyton Manning connected on 25 of his 38 pass attempts for 307 yards and a pair of touchdowns for Indianapolis (4-2).
Pierre Garcon hauled down a 57-yard Manning TD pass in the first period en route to a four-reception, 103-yard performance and Reggie Wayne added six catches for 71 yards for the victors.
Donovan McNabb went 29-of-45 passing for 246 yards, with one touchdown and a pair of interceptions for the Redskins (3-3).
Ryan Torain ran the ball 20 times for 100 yards and two scores.
