NFL: Miami 23, Green Bay 20 (OT)

GREEN BAY, Wis., Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Dan Carpenter connected on a 44-yard field goal five minutes into overtime Sunday, handing the Miami Dolphins a 23-20 decision over Green Bay.

The Dolphins ended up with good field position after the two teams traded punts in overtime, taking over on their own 48-yard line. Miami earned a pair of first downs before turning to Carpenter, who nailed the kick for the Dolphins (3-2).

Chad Henne racked up 231 aerial yards and tossed two TD strikes for Miami. Ten of his passes went to Brandon Marshall for 127 yards.

Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers scored on a 1-yard run on a 4th-and-goal play in the final minute of regulation, forcing an overtime.

Rodgers came back from a concussion in last week's game and went 18-of-33 through the air for 313 yards with one touchdown and an interception for the Packers (3-3), who lost for the third time in four games.
