MLS: Chivas USA 3, Toronto FC 0

CARSON, Calif., Oct. 10 (UPI) -- Jorge Flores' goal in the 51st minute Saturday was all the scoring Chivas USA needed en route to a 3-0 win over Toronto FC in Major League Soccer action.

Jesus Padilla made it 2-0 in the 88th minute off a feed from Alan Gordan and Rodolfo Espinoz, who assisted on Flores' score, made it 3-0 just 2 minutes later.

The outcome was meaningless in that Chivas USA (8-15-4) and Toronto (8-13-7) are both out of the playoff picture.
