MLB: Cincinnati 7, Milwaukee 4

CINCINNATI, Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Yonder Alonso's RBI double ignited a seventh-inning rally Saturday that sent the Cincinnati Reds to a 7-4 victory over Milwaukee.

Casey McGehee's three-run homer in the top of the frame had drawn Milwaukee even at 4-4, but the National League Central champion Reds came right back for three more in the next half-inning to put the game away.

Todd Coffey (2-4) yielded a one-out single to Miguel Cairo and Alonso followed by driving a pitch off the left-center field fence to put the Reds ahead for good.

Corky Miller followed with a two-run homer to complete the rally, which allowed Cincinnati to even their three-game, season-ending series with the Brewers at one win apiece.

Lyle Ondrusek (5-0) collected the victory after recording the final two outs in the top of the seventh.
