Logano wins second straight Kansas 300

KANSAS CITY, Kan., Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Joey Logano overcame Kyle Busch after two late restarts Saturday to claim his second straight Kansas Lottery 300.

Pole-sitter Logano passed his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate after the first restart with six laps to go, then edged out Brad Keselowski after an accident and a second restart set up a two-lap shootout.

Logano posted his second Nationwide Series victory of the season and the eighth of his career, also becoming the first repeat race winner in the series at Kansas Speedway.

Logano finished 0.32 seconds ahead of Keselowski, while Busch fell to third on the final lap.

Kevin Harvick claimed the fourth spot while Martin Truex Jr. -- making his first Nationwide appearance this season -- earned fifth place.
