MLB: Chicago White Sox 6, LA Angels 2

ANAHEIM, Calif., Sept. 26 (UPI) -- John Danks limited the Angels to two runs through eight innings Saturday, pacing the Chicago White Sox' 6-2 victory over Los Angeles.

Danks (14-11) surrendered seven hits, struck out five and walked two to gain his first win since Sept. 4.

It was the third straight triumph for the Chisox, who got a solo homer from Ramon Castro and a pair of RBI from Alexei Ramirez.

Angels starter Scott Kazmir (9-15) was roughed up for five runs on five hits in just three-plus innings, dropping to 1-6 in his last nine starts.

Los Angeles got RBI from Howie Kendrick and Torii Hunter.
