MLB: Arizona 5, Los Angeles Dodgers 2

PHOENIX, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Daniel Hudson limited the Dodgers to two hits in 8 2/3 innings Saturday in the Arizona Diamondbacks' 5-2 decision over Los Angeles.

Hudson (7-1) yielded a pair of runs while walking two and striking out five. He missed his first career complete game by only one out.

Cole Gillespie provided the offensive spark for Arizona with a three-run homer as the D-Backs evened their three-game series with the Dodgers at one win apiece.

Dodgers starter John Ely (4-9) was roughed up for four runs on seven hits with six walks in 5 1/3 innings. He struck out seven.

Los Angeles got RBI from Andre Ethier and James Loney.
