COL FB: Iowa 45, Ball State 0

IOWA CITY, Iowa, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Iowa's Adam Robinson ran for 115 yards and two touchdowns Saturday in 18th-ranked Iowa's 45-0 shutout of visiting Ball State.

Ricky Stanzi threw three touchdown passes for the Hawkeyes (3-1), including two to Derrell Johnson-Koulianos.

Johnson-Koulianos caught four passes for 87 yards. Robinson, who carried the ball 22 times, also caught three passes for a career-high 75 yards.

Meanwhile, the Iowa defense clamped down on Ball State (1-3), limiting the Cardinals to 112 total yards and just eight first downs.

Kelly Page was 4-of-11 passing for 30 yards for Ball State. Eric Williams had 21 yards on 10 carries.

The win improved Iowa to 15-2 on their home turf since 2008 and have won 18 of their last 21 games overall.
