Houston goalkeeper Pat Onstad then helped Kansas City start its comeback by botching a goal kick right to rookie Teal Bunbury, who made good on his shot for his fourth goal of the season.

Serioux added to Houston's list of mistakes by putting the goal into his own net in the 72nd minute, allowing Kansas City to tie it, and Wolff produced the game-winner 7 minutes into stoppage time.
