MLB: Baltimore 4, Boston 2

BOSTON, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Ty Wigginton drove in the go-ahead run with a seventh-inning sacrifice fly Monday and the Baltimore Orioles downed Boston 4-2.

Luke Scott chipped in a pair of hits and two RBI, sparking the Orioles to consecutive wins at Fenway Park for the first time since a four-game win streak that spanned the 2004 and 2005 seasons.

The O's raised their record under Manager Buck Showalter to 28-17 and took their 12th win in 19 road games.

David Hernandez (8-8) got credit for the victory after allowing one run over two innings in relief of starter Brian Matusz, who yielded just one run on three hits and three walks in five frames.

Red Sox starter Daisuke Matsuzaka (9-6) absorbed the loss, surrendering four runs on six hits and five walks in 6 1/3 innings.

Victor Martinez went 3-for-4 with an RBI for Boston.
