EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Sept. 19 (UPI) -- Mark Sanchez tossed three touchdowns and Dustin Keller made seven catches Sunday in the New York Jets' 28-14 victory over New England.

Sanchez amassed 220 yards through the air on 21-of-30 passing. One of his favorite targets was Keller, who gained 115 yards with a touchdown.

The Jets also got big games from Braylon Edwards and Jerricho Cotchery, each of whom caught a touchdown pass.

New York (1-1) downed its bitter AFC rival with 21 unanswered points to end the game.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady finished with 248 yards on 20-of-36 passing. But he was inconsistent late in the game, turning the ball over three times in the final 30 minutes with a pair of interceptions and a lost fumble.

Randy Moss made a sensational one-handed, 34-yard TD catch in the second quarter -- a play in which Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis injured a hamstring muscle and left the game for good.

Aaron Hernandez caught six passes for 101 yards for New England (1-1).
