MLB: Tampa Bay 4, LA Angels 3 (10 innings)

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Jason Bartlett came home on Brandon Wood's 10th-inning throwing error Saturday, lifting the Tampa Bay Rays to a 4-3 decision over the Los Angeles Angels.

Willie Aybar's grounder was handled cleanly by Wood, but he bounced the throw past first base, allowing Tampa Bay to complete a comeback and remain a half-game behind the New York Yankees atop the American League East.

Rafael Soriano (3-2) got the win after hurling a 1-2-3 top of the 10th.

Bobby Cassevah (0-2) took the loss for the Angels.
