BEREA, Ohio, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Cleveland quarterback Jake Delhomme hasn't practiced this week and may miss the Browns' game Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Delhomme apparently injured an ankle during Cleveland's 17-14 loss to Tampa Bay. He finished the game but Seneca Wallace has been working as the first-team quarterback in practice this week.

Browns Coach Eric Mangini said a decision on Delhomme's availability would be made later in the week.

Both Delhomme and Wallace are in their first seasons with Cleveland, as is third-string quarterback Colt McCoy, who is a rookie. Delhomme is a 12-year veteran who spent the previous seven seasons with Carolina. Wallace is an eight-year pro, having played previously for Seattle.

Wallace is 5-9 as a starter and has completed 59.9 percent of his passes over his career. He's thrown for 3,547 yards and 25 touchdowns and has been intercepted 14 times.
