MLB: Cleveland 4, Los Angeles Angels 3

CLEVELAND, Sept. 14 (UPI) -- Shelley Duncan cracked a pair of homers and drove in all four runs Tuesday in the Cleveland Indians' 4-3 win over the Los Angeles Angels.

Duncan's RBI single in the first inning tied the score 1-1 and his solo shot in the fourth gave the Indians the lead for good at 2-1.

He added a two-run homer in the sixth to back Josh Tomlin (4-3), who surrendered three runs on seven hits in 6 2/3 innings, walking one and striking out four.

Chris Perez picked up his 20th save despite allowing the tying and go ahead runs to get aboard in the ninth and the Indians took the first of a three-game series at Progressive Field.

Angels starter Scott Kazmir (8-14) allowed four runs on seven hits over 5 2/3 frames.
