HOUSTON, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Brandon Lyon's bad throw on an A.J. Ellis bunt led to three ninth-inning runs Saturday in a 6-3 Los Angeles Angels decision over Houston.
Pinch-hitter Trent Oeltjen led off the ninth with a walk and Reed Johnson reached on a bunt single. Ellis then bunted to the left of Lyon (6-6), who fielded the ball and threw wildly to first, allowing both runners to score.
James Loney followed with a double to score Ellis and the Dodgers took their second straight win after breaking a six-game losing streak.
Casey Blake smacked a solo homer, and Johnson had an RBI and scored twice for the victors.
Kenley Jansen (1-0) got his first major-league win with a 1-2-3 eighth inning.
The Astros were led by Brett Wallace, who hit a solo home run. Houston starter Wandy Rodriguez allowed three runs on five hits while striking out 10 over seven innings.
