ROGERS, Ark., Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Morgan Pressel, seeking her first victory in almost two years, shot a 5-under 66 Friday and held the lead after one round of the P&G NW Arkansas Championship.

Pressel played early in the day at the Pinnacle Country Club and suffered just one bogey while coming within a shot of equaling her low round of the year. She shot a 65 in the third round of the Women's British Open, where she finished eighth.

Michelle Wie, coming off her second LPGA Tour victory at the Women's Canadian Open, shared fifth place at 68 with Suzann Pettersen, Janice Moody, Danielle Downey, Jee Young Lee and Ji Young Oh.

Juli Inkster was among those at 69, tied for 11th.

Pressel's most recent win, the second of her career, came at the 2008 Kapalua LPGA Classic. She has seven top-10 finishes this year, two short of tying the most she has ever had in one season.
