MLB: Colorado 10, Los Angeles Dodgers 5

DENVER, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Carlos Gonzalez smashed a pair of homers Sunday, fueling the Colorado Rockies' 10-5 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Gonzalez went 3-for-4 with four RBI and Dexter Fowler contributed two triples and three runs driven in. Ryan Spilborghs chipped in a solo homer for Colorado, which took the rubber match of a three-game series at Coors Field.

Jason Hammel (9-7) bounced back from eight sub-par starts, working 5 1/3 innings while yielding two runs on seven hits to notch the victory. He helped his own cause with an RBI single among two hits.

The Dodgers were led by Ryan Theriot, who collected two hits and had a pair of RBI.

Los Angeles starter Ted Lilly (8-9) lost for the first time in six starts since being acquired from the Chicago Cubs. He was rocked for seven runs on nine hits in four frames.
