MLB: Cincinnati 7, Chicago Cubs 5

CINCINNATI, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Kosuke Fukudome's eighth-inning throwing error allowed in the go-ahead run Sunday in Cincinnati's 7-5 win over the Chicago Cubs.

Chris Heisey trotted home with the decisive score on the miscue after the Reds had coughed up a late lead in the rubber match of a three-game set at Great American Ball Park.

Drew Stubbs collected three hits and scored three runs and Ramon Hernandez chipped in with three hits and an RBI single for the Reds. The Reds stayed hot, winning 11 of their last 15.

They posted a season-high five game lead on St. Louis in the National League Central.

Logan Ondrusek (4-0) earned the win in relief and Francisco Cordero nailed down his 35th save.

The Cubs' Sean Marshall (6-5) absorbed the loss, allowing four hits in one inning of work.
