DETROIT, Aug. 23 (UPI) -- Ryan Raburn went 3-for-4, drove in three runs and scored twice Monday in the Detroit Tigers' 12-3 pasting of the Kansas City Royals.

Raburn's RBI double in the fifth inning broke a 1-1 tie and his two-run single in the sixth highlighted a seven-run outburst that saw Detroit break the game open and go on to post a victory in the first of a three-game set at Comerica Park.
