HOUSTON, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Carlos Lee hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning Thursday that rallied Houston to a 3-2 decision over the New York Mets.
Pat Misch (0-2), making only his second start of the season, had allowed only one hit through six innings before surrendering a 2-0 lead in the seventh.
Angel Sanchez singled to open the inning and went to second on a base hit by Hunter Pence. Lee then hit Misch's first pitch over the wall in left to put the Astros in front.
The teams split a four-game series.
Bud Norris (6-7) earned the victory by giving up two runs on two hits with four strikeouts in seven innings. Houston won for the fourth time in six games.
New York's scores came in the fourth with Jeff Francoeur delivering an RBI groundout and Chris Carter contributing a run-scoring, infield single.
