MLS: Kansas City 1, Toronto 0

KANSAS CITY, Kan., Aug. 1 (UPI) -- Teal Bunbury scored on a header in the 62nd minute Saturday to lead Kansas City to a 1-0 decision over Toronto FC.

The Wizards took the lead when a long ball deflected off a Toronto defender and fell to Bunbury, who headed the ball toward the net. Toronto goalkeeper Stefan Frei got a hand on it but the ball struck the underside of the crossbar and found its way over the goal line.

Kansas City (5-8-4) has picked up seven points in its last three games following a three-game losing stretch.

Mista had the best chance for Toronto FC (6-6-5) when he got into the box in the first half but goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen made a diving save to tip it past the post.
