CLEVELAND, July 25 (UPI) -- Reid Brignac belted a three-run homer and Wade Davis pitched six-plus effective innings Sunday in the Tampa Bay Rays' 4-2 decision over Cleveland.

Brignac's clout in the second inning off Justin Masterson (3-9) erased a 1-0 deficit and put the Rays ahead for good, leading them to a victory in the rubber match of a three-game weekend series.

Davis (8-9) worked 6 1/3 innings, surrendering a pair of runs on seven hits, issuing only one walk and striking out four to win his third straight start.

Rafael Soriano collected his 26th save with a scoreless ninth.

Travis Hafner went 4-for-4 with a run scored for Indians.
