MLB: Oakland 6, Chicago White Sox 4

OAKLAND, Calif., July 25 (UPI) -- Dallas Braden won for the first time since tossing his perfect game, leading the Oakland Athletics to a 6-4 victory over the Chicago White Sox Sunday.

Braden (5-7) hadn't had a victory since May 9 when he tossed the 19th perfect game in major league history. He had gone 0-5 in nine starts since then, but on Sunday he limited the White Sox to three runs on five hits in 6 1/3 innings of work.

Kurt Suzuki contributed three RBI and Daric Barton added two more, pacing the A's to a win in the rubber match of a three-game series with Chicago. It was also their fourth victory in five games overall.

White Sox rookie Daniel Hudson (1-1) was roughed up for six hits and five runs, issuing four walks over five innings.

The Chisox lost for the third time in four games and saw their lead over Minnesota in the American League Central dwindle to one game.
