KANSAS CITY, Mo., July 20 (UPI) -- Jason Kendall drove in a run with a sacrifice fly and Alberto Callaspo singled in the game winner in the 10th Monday in Kansas City's 5-4 win over Toronto.
The Royals came back in the bottom of the inning when Scott Podsednik opened with a triple, and then scored on Kendall's sac fly. After Blue Jays closer Kevin Gregg (0-4) allowed a two-out single by Billy Butler and walked Jose Guillen, Callaspo drove in the game winner and the Royals lost for the first time in their last seven games.
Kendall and Yuniesky Betancourt both drove in two runs for the Royals.
Yunel Escobar hit a two-run homer for Kansas City.
