ATLANTA, July 20 (UPI) -- Jair Jurrjens held San Diego to one run over seven innings and Matt Diaz drove in three runs Tuesday to carry the Atlanta Braves to a 4-1 victory.
Jurrjens (3-3) made his fourth straight good start since returning from a hamstring injury. He yielded a single run on five hits, walking three and striking out seven as the Braves won the first of a three-game set between the two division leaders.

Billy Wagner picked up his 22nd save with a scoreless ninth, nailing down Atlanta's seventh win in 10 games.
Diaz pounded a two-run homer in the fourth to put the Braves ahead to stay and added an RBI single in the seventh.
Wade LeBlanc (4-8) absorbed the tough-luck loss for the Padres, allowing just two runs over six innings.
