Riblon wins stage, Schleck maintains lead

AX 3 DOMAINES, France, July 18 (UPI) -- Christophe Riblon of France emerged with a victory Sunday in Stage 14 of the 2010 Tour de France and Luxembourg's Andy Schleck held onto the overall lead.

Riblon took the 122-mile stretch from Revel to Ax 3 Domaines in the Pyrenees Mountains with a time of 4:52:42, claiming his fifth career Tour de France stage win.

Meanwhile, Schleck was able to keep pace with defending champion Alberto Contador of Spain on the final uphill climb of the mountainous stage and maintain his 31-second hold on the yellow jersey.

Both title contenders finished in a pack 1:08 behind Riblon's time.
