MLB: Toronto 3, Baltimore 2

BALTIMORE, July 17 (UPI) -- Jose Bautista pounded a two-run homer in the eighth inning Saturday, boosting the Toronto Blue Jays past Baltimore 3-2.

Trailing 2-1 entering the frame, Yunel Escobar got a lead-off single off Jason Berken (2-2) and Bautista followed by blasting a fastball into the left field bullpen, his major league-leading 25th homer of the year, to hand Toronto its second win a three-game set at Camden Yards.

Brandon Morrow (6-6) got the victory, yielding a pair of runs on five hits in seven innings.

Five Blue Jays relievers teamed to hurl the last three scoreless innings. But Shawn Camp had to bail out Toronto closer Kevin Gregg in the ninth, inducing Cesar Izturis to ground out to end the game after Gregg had walked the bases loaded.
