PHOENIX, July 11 (UPI) -- Rookie Alex Sanabia and five other Florida Marlins pitchers teamed up Sunday to shut out Arizona 2-0.
Sanabia, making his first major league start, hurled the first 3 1/3 innings, yielding five hits and walking one, and Burke Badenhop (1-5) got credit for the win by getting the final out of the fourth on a bases-loaded double-play grounder.
Brian Sanches hurled the next two innings for the Marlins. Jose Veras, Clay Hensley and Leo Nunez each worked an inning to finish the game, with Nunez earning his 20th save of the year as Florida raised its record to 42-46 entering the All-Star break.
Jorge Cantu and Dan Uggla drove in fourth-inning runs to provide the Marlins' offense.
Barry Enright (1-2) took the loss for the D-backs, allowing both runs in five innings of work.
