BASTAD, Sweden, July 10 (UPI) -- Second-seeded Aravane Rezai of France won the third title of her career Saturday with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 decision over Gisela Dulko at the Swedish Open.
Rezai, who has been on the women's tennis circuit for six seasons, claimed her other two championships last year.
Ranked 21st in the world, Rezai is in the midst of the best stretch of tennis she has played during those six years as a professional. She has reached at least the semifinals in three of her last six tournaments and fell to Venus Williams in the championship match at Madrid.
Rezai was knocked out in the second round at Wimbledon late last month.
Dulko, from Argentina, had been seeking her first tournament triumph in two years.
