MLB: Baltimore 6, Texas 4

ARLINGTON, Texas, July 9 (UPI) -- Julio Lugo's RBI single highlighted a three-run eighth inning for Baltimore Thursday and the Orioles came from behind to beat Texas 6-4.

The decisive inning included one run forced in by a hit batter and another with a bases-loaded walk.

Felix Pie and Scott Moore had solo home runs for the Orioles. David Hernandez (4-7) went 1 1/3 innings of relief for the win and Alfredo Simon was credited with his 11th save.

Frank Francisco (6-4) took the loss in relief. He gave up three runs on one hit and failed to record an out. Josh Hamilton homered and extended his hitting streak in Arlington to 28 games.

The Rangers scored three runs in the second inning and another in the third to take a 4-0 lead. Baltimore battled back with a run in the fifth and two in the seventh to make it 4-3 heading into the eighth.
