MLS: New York 3, Kansas City 0

KANSAS CITY, Mo., June 26 (UPI) -- Juan Pablo Angel found the net twice Saturday and Red Bull New York breezed to a 3-0 victory over Kansas City.

All three of New York's tallies came in the second half. The first was scored by Salou Ibrahim in the 55th minute.

Angel then went to work for the Red Bulls (8-5-0). Bouna Coundoul found him on the right with a long outlet pass and he got by Kansas City's Aaron Hohlbein to score on a half-volley in the 82nd minute.

Angel tallied again in the 90th, gathering a loose ball on the right side of the area and scoring into an empty net.

Kansas City (3-6-3) suffered its second home defeat and is 12 points behind Columbus and New York in the Eastern Conference.
