MLB: Baltimore 6, Washington 5

BALTIMORE, June 26 (UPI) -- Luke Scott scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch Saturday and the Baltimore Orioles hung on for a 6-5 inter-league win over Washington.

Scott, who had reached on a seventh-inning fielder's choice, went to third on a two-out Matt Wieters single off Sean Burnett (0-4). Nationals Manager Jim Riggleman then brought in Drew Storen, and with pinch-hitter Ty Wigginton at the plate, Storen uncorked a wild pitch, allowing Scott to cross the plate and give the Orioles their margin of victory.

Adam Dunn stroked a two-run double for Washington.
