MLB: Seattle 2, Minnesota 1 (10 innings)

SEATTLE, June 3 (UPI) -- Ichiro Suzuki drove in Ryan Langerhans from second with a two-out, infield single in the 10th inning Wednesday, giving Seattle a 2-1 victory over Minnesota.

Suzuki produced his grounder on the 11th pitch of a battle with reliever Jose Mijares. The ball was knocked down before it could get to the outfield, but not before Langerhans came all the way around to score.

Langerhans had come on as a pinch-runner after Casey Kotchman reached on a one-out, infield single and moved to second on a base hit by Josh Wilson.

Seattle's Cliff Lee and Minnesota's Kevin Slowey dueled into the late innings, each giving up a run but neither figuring in the decision. Lee gave up five hits and struck out eight in eight innings. Slowey allowed five hits in seven frames.

Brandon League (5-5) worked the top of the ninth for the victory.

Matt Guerrier (0-1) put the winning run on base before Mijares gave up the key hit to Suzuki.
