MLB: Milwaukee 4, Houston 3 (10 innings)

MILWAUKEE, May 27 (UPI) -- Rickie Weeks drew a bases loaded walk on a full count with two out in the 10th inning Thursday, giving the Milwaukee Brewers a 4-3 victory over Houston.

The Brewers tied the game in the ninth and then took advantage of wildness on the part of Matt Lindstrom in the 10th to win the finale of a three-game series.

Weeks went 2-for-3 with three walks to help Milwaukee halt a five-game losing streak. Casey McGehee had three hits and drove in his 41st run of the year, tops in the National League.

Carlos Gomez singled in the tying run in the ninth and the Astros were retired in order in the top of the 10th.

McGehee then singled to open the bottom half of the inning against Lindstrom (1-1) and, one out later, George Kottaras walked. After Alcides Escobar singled to load the bases, Weeks worked a 3-2 count against Lindstrom and then took another ball that forced home the winning run.

John Axford (1-0) earned his first career victory by working the top of the 10th.
