ARLINGTON, Texas, May 22 (UPI) -- Mike Fontenot and Derrek Lee drove in 10th-inning runs Saturday to lift the Chicago Cubs to a 5-4 decision over Texas.

Tyler Colvin led off the frame with a double and Kosuke Fukudome followed with a pinch-hit single off Darren O'Day (1-2), sending Colvin to third. Fontenot, pinch-hitting for Jeff Baker, lined an RBI single to make it 4-3 Cubs.

Fukudome went to third on an out and Lee then drove in an insurance tally when he grounded into a fielder's choice, making a winner of Sean Marshall (4-1), who got the final two outs of the ninth in relief of starter Randy Wells.

It turned out the Cubs needed the extra score because Carlos Marmol allowed the Rangers to get a run back in the bottom of the 10th, but he hung on to record his eighth save of the year.

Wells turned in a strong start, holding Texas to three runs on seven hits over 8 1/3 innings.

Nelson Cruz homered and drove in two runs and Vladimir Guerrero added a solo shot for American League West-leading Texas, which saw its five-game winning streak snapped.
