LOS ANGELES, May 21 (UPI) -- Jamey Carroll had two hits and two RBI Thursday, Clayton Kershaw held San Diego to one run over 7 1/3 innings, and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat San Diego 4-1.
Garret Anderson drove in a run for the Dodgers, who bounced back from a loss to the Padres Wednesday to win for the ninth time in their last 10 games. Blake DeWitt scored on a wild pitch during the Dodgers' three-run sixth.

Kershaw (4-2) scattered seven hits and struck out seven in winning his third straight.
Padres' starter Kevin Correia (4-4) allowed four runs on seven hits in six innings.
Will Venable drove in a run with a third-inning single for the Padres, who lost for the fifth time in seven games.
