MILWAUKEE, May 12 (UPI) -- Brooks Conrad homered and drove in four runs to lead a 12-hit Atlanta attack and the Braves downed Milwaukee 9-2 Wednesday.
Conrad's two-run blast in the eighth gave the Braves a 6-2 advantage and his ninth inning double drove in two more to give Atlanta a sweep of its three-game series at Miller Park and its fourth win in five games.
Eric Hinske added a pair of hits and drove in a run and Chipper Jones collected a pinch-hit RBI double for the Braves, who scorched Milwaukee pitching for 28 runs in the series.
Derek Lowe (5-3) scattered six hits over six innings, allowing two walks and two strikeouts to pick up the victory.
Brewers reliever Manny Parra (0-2) was saddled with the loss after allowing a pair of runs in the seventh that broke a 2-2 tie.
Casey McGehee got a pair of hits and an RBI in the Milwaukee loss.
