MLB: Seattle 5, Baltimore 1

BALTIMORE, May 11 (UPI) -- Cliff Lee tossed seven innings of one-run ball and Ryan Langerhans homered Tuesday to post the Seattle Mariners to a 5-1 win over Baltimore.

Lee (1-1) notched his first victory as a Mariner in his third start of the year since returning from an abdominal injury. He held the Orioles to one run on eight hits, walking none and striking out two.

Brandon League came on to pitch 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief to pick up his first save of the year.

Langerhans' solo blast came in the fifth inning and broke a scoreless tie. Chone Figgins, Rob Johnson and Michael Saunders picked up the other RBIs for the M's.

Josh Wilson added two hits and scored twice as the Mariners won their second straight after snapping an eight-game skid.

Garrett Atkins drove in Baltimore's only run. O's starter David Hernandez (0-5) was touched for five runs on five hits and four walks in 5 2/3 innings of work.
