BOSTON, May 10 (UPI) -- Simon Gagne scored twice Monday and the Philadelphia Flyers blanked Boston 4-0 to remain alive in their Eastern Conference semifinal series.

Gagne, who returned from a foot injury to score the winning overtime goal in Saturday's Game 4 victory, was again instrumental with a pair of tallies to help the Flyers cut Boston's series lead to 3-2.

Ville Leino notched a goal and an assist and Scott Hartnell got the Flyers' other goal in the victory.

Starting Flyers goalie Brian Boucher left early in the second period with a lower-body injury after making nine stops. Back-up Michael Leighton, who hadn't played since March 16, completed the shutout, stopping all 14 shots he saw.

Tuukka Rask let in four goals on 31 shots in Boston's defeat, the Bruins' first home loss in the 2010 playoffs.

Game 6 is set for Wednesday in Philadelphia.
