MINNEAPOLIS, May 9 (UPI) -- Nick Blackburn and two relievers combined on a six-hit shutout and the Minnesota Twins dispatched Baltimore 6-0 Sunday.

Blackburn (3-1) was tough, scattering four hits and walking two over seven innings, while Matt Guerrier and Jon Rauch completed the whitewash by tossing one scoreless inning apiece.

Denard Span tripled, drove in three runs, collected three hits and scored twice while Brendan Harris went 3-for-4 with two runs scored for the Twins, who earned a split of a four-game weekend series with Baltimore.

Nick Punto drove in a pair of runs with two hits and Alexi Casilla added two hits and an RBI in Minnesota's win.

O's starter Brian Matusz (2-3) was tagged for six runs on nine hits in just 3 2/3 innings.
