NBA: Phoenix 110, San Antonio 96

SAN ANTONIO, May 8 (UPI) -- Goran Dragic produced a sensational fourth quarter Friday that brought Phoenix within one win of playoff advancement in a 110-96 decision over San Antonio.

Dragic scored 26 points and 23 of them came in the final period, during which the Suns outscored the Spurs 39-24.

Phoenix took a 3-0 lead in the Western Conference semifinals and can eliminate the Spurs when San Antonio hosts Game 4 on Sunday.

Dragic averaged 7.9 points a game during the regular season and had averaged 5.6 points per contest in his previous eight playoff appearances.

He was all but unstoppable, however, in the final 12 minutes Friday. He made four 3-pointers in the period, which began with San Antonio holding a one-point lead.

Dragic made 10-of-13 from the field for the game and was perfect in five attempts from 3-point range. Jason Richardson added 21 points, Grant Hill had 18 and Steve Nash 16.

Manu Ginobili led San Antonio with 27 points.

Phoenix shot 53 percent from the field and hit 15-of-26 from beyond the arc. The Suns overcame an 18-point deficit in the first half.
