MLB: LA Dodgers 6, Colorado 5

LOS ANGELES, May 8 (UPI) -- A triple in the sixth by Matt Kemp drove in the winning run Friday and Andre Ethier had two RBI, bringing the Los Angeles Dodgers a 6-5 victory over Colorado.

Ethier, who won Thursday's game against Milwaukee with a grand slam homer in the ninth, singled in a run in the third and doubled home another in the fifth.

Kemp, however, accounted for the deciding tally when he laced a two-out triple to center with Jamey Carroll on third.

That gave the victory to Jeff Weaver (1-1), who came off the disabled list Friday and threw six pitches while recording the third out in the top of the sixth.

Jonathan Broxton, who blew a save opportunity on Thursday, came through in the ninth against the Rockies. Broxton gave up a leadoff single to Carlos Gonzalez, but Gonzalez was erased trying to steal second and the Los Angeles closer went on to pick up his second save.
