MLB: Tampa Bay 6, Toronto 0

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., April 25 (UPI) -- David Price hurled nine scoreless innings Sunday, notching his first career shutout and leading the Tampa Bay Rays to a 6-0 win over Toronto.

Price's gem included only four hits and one walk as he fanned nine to boost the Rays to their fourth win in five games.

Jason Bartlett and John Jaso each drove in a pair of runs as Price cruised through the Blue Jays lineup, at one point retiring 12 straight batters.

The loss went to Toronto's Brandon Morrow (1-2), who issued six walks and allowed two runs over six innings.

The Blue Jays, who lost for the third time in four games, got doubles from Alex Gonzalez and John McDonald.
