OTTAWA, April 18 (UPI) -- Sidney Crosby had a goal and an assist Sunday and the Pittsburgh Penguins beat Ottawa 4-2 to take a 2-1 lead in their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series.

Bill Guerin also got a goal and a helper while Evgeni Malkin and Alexei Ponikarovsky chipped in with scores as the Penguins wrested away Ottawa's home ice advantage in the first-round series.

Marc-Andre Fleury turned aside 20 shots and was tested down the stretch after Matt Cullen's power-play marker with 7:02 left had pulled the Senators to within 4-2.

But Ottawa couldn't score again despite getting a power play and pulling the goalie in the final 2 minutes.

The Senators' other goal came from Mike Fisher. Brian Elliott let in four goals on 24 shots.
