SEATTLE, April 17 (UPI) -- Franklin Gutierrez had three RBI Friday, one of them coming during a six-run sixth inning, leading Seattle past Detroit 11-3.
The Mariners sent 11 men to the plate in the sixth inning and six different players had an RBI during the frame.

Milton Bradley, Gutierrez and Ichiro Suzuki all singled in a run, Jack Wilson and Jose Lopez had sacrifice flies and Rob Johnson drew a bases-loaded walk.
Gutierrez also tripled in Seattle's first two runs in the third.
Felix Hernandez (1-0) coasted to the win, allowing two runs and striking out nine through 6 2/3 innings.
Jeremy Bonderman (1-1) was roughed up for eight runs in four innings. He gave up nine hits and walked four.
Seattle won its third in a row.
