MLB: Seattle 4, Oakland 2

SEATTLE, April 15 (UPI) -- Jason Vargas gave up two runs in six innings and Milton Bradley drove in two runs Wednesday in the Seattle Mariners' 4-2 win over Oakland.

Franklin Gutierrez and Jose Lopez had two hits and one RBI apiece and Vargas (1-1) limited the A's to five hits without a walk. Vargas struck out six.

David Aardsma earned his fourth save of the season after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth.

Jake Fox accounted for all of Oakland's scoring with a two-run homer.

Starter Gio Gonzalez allowed two runs on six hits and four walks in 4 2/3 innings. Chad Gaudin (0-1) gave up two runs in 1 1/3 innings to take the loss in relief.
