AUBURN HILLS, Mich., April 2 (UPI) -- Amare Stoudemire made 13-of-15 shots from the field Friday and scored 29 points in sending Phoenix soaring past Detroit 109-94.
The Suns won their 10th straight game and climbed into a tie with Utah and Dallas for the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference.

Jared Dudley produced 20 points off the bench for Phoenix, which shot 56 percent as a team and made 15-of-29 attempts from 3-point range.
Detroit, losers of 10 in a row, was led by Ben Gordon with 21 points.
The Suns outscored the Pistons in every quarter.
